To mitigate the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, companies will need to quickly define the skills needed and reskill/upskill their employees.
CoSkill aims to increase competitiveness in Skåne and Blekinge, and strengthen the position of individuals in the labour market during and after COVID-19 pandemic. This is done by helping small and medium-sized companies identify the skills needed in the ongoing digital structural transformation, and providing free skills development programs to their employees.
The efforts will target a wide range of industries at different levels and has four focus areas:
- Innovation Management
- Industry 4.0
- Digital Presence, and
- Digital Excellence.
CoSkill is funded by The European Social Fund and is the result of a cooperation between Region Skåne, Region Blekinge, and various cluster organisations.
GET INVOLVED
The project is currently looking for small and medium-sized companies based in Skåne and/or Blekinge that are interested in identifying skills needed to respond to the digital transformation and the crisis created due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The companies should be able to allocate time for a skills needs assessment and training initiatives for their employees (free of charge).
