Workshop: Open Collaborative Data (OCD) as an innovation platform for machine learning applications
March 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Are you interested in exploring the potential in Open Collaborative Data (OCD) for machine learning to ensure competitive and innovative Swedish companies?
Join us in a workshop!
What?: Under the slogan “Data is the new oil”, many businesses try to collect as much data they can from their customers, products, and public sources, especially for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) applications. Data is often a competitive advantage, especially for pioneers in the market. However, as competitors advance, data may turn into a commodity and be more of a cost than value. Collaborating with others on data may then be an open innovation option.
Goal?: We want to understand bridges and barriers for Swedish companies regarding data in general and specifically around collaborations. We propose the concept OCD for data collaboration across companies and organizations. Our goals of the project:
1. Raise the awareness of OCD for Swedish companies
2. Survey Swedish companies and public organizations to understand bridges and barriers
3. Define a research agenda to support Swedish companies and public organisations
How?: The project consists of workshops with private and public organizations in Sweden. At the workshops, OCD will be scrutinized around a specific scenario suitable for the audience.
Why?: Organizations will share and learn from each other; how they are using data today and what will happen in the future in terms of business value, organizational obstacles, technical debt, etc.
When?: The moderated workshops will take place in three locations: Read more and register here!
